or is cpu+gpu not possible and I need to select only one?
Mining using both CPU and GPU is not possible at the moment. This feature is in the pipeline as part of improving the mining setup.
So for now you have to stick to either of those.

Why am I in such settings, where it turns out included in the GPU, the GPU itself won’t boot? You can see it in the picture in afterburner. On the other hand, if you specify the CPU mining in the settings, the CPU is loaded and it can be seen in the task Manager.

Why bot takes so long to respond?
Noda works, and GPU is not loaded. I can’t start mining until now. Wait for help.
it’s not really a bot. its a person. maybe a shared account for responses? idk. but ya, i’ve played with this thing a ton and i can’t get it to work. i crossed notes with Kryztoval and the only difference between our setups is that i’m using a 1060 and he’s using a 1080. config, cuda, drivers, ram, etc all the same.
And as a result the miner doesn’t work?
I’m not saying that’s why…but it’s the only difference I’ve been able to find after messing with it for most of the day yesterday. my other rigs are using the linux version and working fine. the windows is still experimental at this point. i’m sure they’ll get the kinks worked out soon

Well, sometimes one needs to look into things deeply and can’t respond so fast.
Either way, @William and @ACEatLARGE7 , an easy test to verify that mining is working logically on your setups is by changing the network id in the configuration file epoch.yaml to something different, e.g. mylocalnetwork. This way your miner will start at height 0 and should find solutions and blocks reasonably fast (within minutes). If that works, we only need to find out why the other GPUs might not be loaded correctly. Since we are reworking the mining system quite a bit, I’d like to get that done before since that might already improve the situation. So, please be patient Working on it.
Hanging up in the sense that it is crashing?
changed network id to other name…and it crashed. so the mining should not working?
