is there any reason why work on this has not been continued?
do I understand correctly that the general implementation was complete but we didn’t go the last route to integrate into the js-sdk?

@YaniUnchained is there any reason you never replied here? seems like this was sth. that all developers always wanted to see integrated in the javascript sdk.
from everything I have read the library was almost finished and required documentation and integration tests. probably now some additional functionalities (e.g. new Sophia features) need to be covered, too. I think it would be great to continue work on this proposal and finally integrate it into the js-sdk

@bruteforce.chain started working on the SDK integration ((wip) Replace http compiler calls with calldata en/decode lib for contract calls by mradkov · Pull Request #1259 · aeternity/aepp-sdk-js · GitHub) but we are pretty certain there is some functionality missing now due to new features introduced with Iris
