Hey everyone,
Here’s a quick overview of what the team has been working on over the past two weeks.
Weeks 14–15 (April 1 – April 14, 2025)
Mihail Dobrev
We removed warnings triggered by migration redefinitions and fixed an HC-related error in MDW that occurred during forks or when total_stat
records were missing. GitHub runners were updated due to deprecations, and we tested recent changes in a new MDW release.
A temporary fix was introduced for the slow /v3/stats
endpoint, followed by a permanent solution that moves heavy calculations to background syncing, making responses near-instant. We also made progress on adding counters for account transactions, activities, names, and tokens.
Justin Mitchell
We fixed a nonce issue in the vote contract call caused by transactions in the final micro block. The HyperChain white paper was also updated to document the different vote types.
Hans Svensson
We wrapped up a final review of the vote-splitting PR and worked on adapting several FATE operations for PoS/HyperChains after the reversal of key/micro block order in Bitcoin-NG.
Måns af Klercker
We continued working on the Penalties contract and took part in reviews and planning around documentation and voting. Additional focus was placed on testing the documentation guides to ensure they’re accurate and user-friendly.
Dincho Todorov
Work this cycle focused on infrastructure cost optimization and reduction.
Richard Carlsson
We dug through code to better understand and document internal data structures. This included reviewing DB tables, initialization logic, and contract-related caching. We also ran profiling sessions and generated flame graphs to gain deeper insight into performance characteristics.
Jan Michek
We worked on listing mining pools, upgrading all project dependencies, and introducing an advanced AE price history chart. We also improved consistency in number formatting across the interface.
Thanks for following along. Let us know if anything catches your interest or if you’ve got ideas to share!
