Btw one thing I learned thanks to the new hints is that Æ coins automatically get burned whenever a new .chain name gets claimed:

Bildschirmfoto 2023-07-13 um 15.28.03

You can see the total amount of burned Æ coins together with the circulating supply on the æScan dashboard.

I think I somehow fail to verify a contract. is there any guide how to deal with filesystem representation? is that supported?

@marco.chain To keep the file system representation it’s enough to drag and drop all the files and directories containing the smart contract files (we will make this even more clear in the UI).

If you executed this properly it might be your smart contract cannot be verified because of this old issue with the compiler: same compiler version produces different bytecode output · Issue #485 · aeternity/aesophia · GitHub
It shouldn’t be an issue with smart contracts compiled with aesophia >= 7.4.0.

this has been reported by myself and I am 99,99% sure that I made sure to deploy the contract after this has been fixed.

I actually wanted to make sure it can be verified in the future. will check again if I find some time.

We’re thrilled to announce a new release of æScan packed with powerful features, enhancements, and bug fixes to elevate your blockchain experience! This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to provide the most comprehensive and user-friendly æternity blockchain exploration platform.

Here’s a rundown of the remarkable features and improvements included in this release:

Contract read & write

On the verified contracts we can now call the endpoints form UI. The prerequisite to this was to implement a user wallet connection. So you can connect with Superhero Wallet now, check your account and dispatch Write actions to contacts.

Smart contracts event decoding

Smart contract events are encoded. However now whan we have a Verified Contract, we can also decode the events!

Ae coin details

Separate page to present native AE coin. It also lists prices on different coin markets and token transactions. Page contains Trade button to guide users to the desired action.

Top Accounts

Listing of accounts sorted by the wealthiest

Improve UI and readability of panels in detail pages

Slight redesign to improve readability

UX navigation improvements

On mobile when you open the menu, tab on Back, the menu will close (not navigate back).
When you navigate from transaction listing to detail, then you go back, you still see the same listing (not the freshest one)

Prepend token symbol

My personal favorite feature. Small UI icon that makes the whole app much more readable

Network unavailability handling

Signalize that something went wrong, rather than crash the app in front of users’ eyes.

Enhanced Functionality

  • Migrate to Middleware v3 API endpoints
  • optimizations suggested by Lighthouse
  • Average Tx fees stats panel
