It is really annoying to type in URLs in the aepp browser tab. It would be great if we could scan a QR code that forwards us to the aepp.

Where would you be scanning this QR code? On a physical flyer?
I think that we might want to work on app-specific links… so when you tap on a link it opens the URL in the aepps browser inside the Base aepp.
For example, I’m on a promotional poster on my phone, so I want it to be able to access albums as well.
I will discuss internally how easy it is to implement this and let you know if we plan to do it.
