It is faster but it does not seem stable to me. Got my oc way down and still it crashes every 15min or so. Does restart automatically but still. Seems buggy

Lol 50% faster (vs what ? surely not hspminer). But my problem is the same than older release, i have a huge amount of rejected shares. For example i have just started again bminer on one rig, i have 16 accepted shares and 15 rejected.

I will let it run for another 15 minutes to see if it decreases. Though i must say i mine on Beepool. Maybe on f2pool it’s ok.

Now i have ended writing this message i have 27 accepted and 23 rejected. Now i think about it i should calculate if i have more accepted shares than on hspminer during a timeframe.

edit :
i ran hspminer during 10 minutes and bminer 10 minutes.
57 accepted shares for hspminer with 0 rejected.
39 accepted shares for bminer and 32 rejected.

Maybe it would be 50% faster if i had all shares accepted.

We’re pleased to release Bminer 13.0.0.

The release provides:

30% performance improvement on Grin and AE on NVIDIA GPUs.
Reduce the likelihood of rejected shares.

Happy mining!

Ouch it hurts. I ran my 10 minutes test like my post above. 83 shares accepted and 3 rejected.
Now i will put bminer on my others rigs and see my hash on beepool. But for now it s quite impressive :+1:

13.0.0 seems broken.

It keeps on crashing and giving me the below error.

This is with 7x GTX 1070. I have reverted back to the previous release without issue.

Cheers,

Stable for me since i last posted.

My hasrate speaks for itself… not sure why it’s lower since one hour though, but still higher overall.

What is your overclocking or downclocking, do you have 80 gb pagefile ?

It is on Linux with +120c and +1000m.

Wow you put your 1070 to their limit. With +400m it’s enough for me. Not sure cuckoo needs a core overclock. But i am very conservative. I wonder if with core +0 and mem +400 it would be more stable?

Linux works different from Windows. To get the same effect you need to double your number for memory. It does not change the crash effect.

Keep in mind I have used bminer through every edition for ae. It only crashes on the 13.0.0.

Bminer 13.1.0 is out: Downloads - Bminer

Does anyone know what this strange thing is??? Have anything to do with AE???

I’m going to try running Bminer on Linux Mint. I haven’t seen any specific instructions. Where did you put it??? Do you have a script that starts Bminer on boot up???

there is a instruction about OhGodAnETHlargementPill on bminer website.

We’re pleased to release Bminer 13.1.0.

The release provides:
Support mining Grin / AE with 4G or 5G of video memory. (P104 only on Linux)

Happy mining!

Are there plans to add amd 4gb cards?

I’m now mining AE with Bminer 13.1.0 on 4 single 1080 Ti rigs and 13 multi-GPU rigs. No problems noted on the single card rigs.
With the multi-GPU rigs the ones that have all cards the same model work with no problems noticed yet. However, the rigs that give me problems are the ones that have a mix of models, e.g. 1080 Ti, 1080, 1080 & 1070 or 1070 & 1080. The last one rejects a lot of shares and that 4-card rig crashes.

Has anyone noticed that it’s best to have all cards the same model???

4067 accepted / 133 rejected
6478 / 235
6402 / 244
4202 / 140
6700 / 209

On 5 rigs. Mixed cards (1080ti 1070 ti, 1070) but 4 max by rigs.
I wonder if the miner restarts itself as i have 6700 accepted on a pc i have only one crappy 1080ti lol.

But i cant complain… i had 7.5 in average with hspminer and more than 10 with 13.0.0, not a single crash. And i have more AE.

I guess it seems worse when one sits and stares at the Bminer reports scrolling by. A while back I decided multi-GPU just seemed to run better when they all had the same model cards. I’ve been rearranging so most of mine are homogeneous. I keep adding rigs so most have not run overnight yet.

Bminer 13.1.0 crashes immediatly my Home PC with 2x 1080ti on Windows 10/64. Tested several times, allready with the AE mining launch it just shuts down the PC immediatly.
Interesting it’s working perfect with BEAM, no issues.

What’s the problem that my PC shuts down immediatly when activing Bminer on AE???
