I’m looking for links on deploying to testnet and mainnet, I think I have some idea on how to do so but would love some clarification.

Your question is a bit unclear and I interpret it as a means to deploy contracts.
So an answer to your question: for different networks, you can use:
- for testnet https://testnet.aeternal.io/
- for mainnet https://mainnet.aeternal.io/
Note that the network_id should be adjusted accordingly.
Having said this, may I suggest you use the Fire editor? It is really nice and it would guide you and help you with writing and deploying contracts. The developer behind it is @nikitafuchs.chain and he can answer any questions you might have.
