Hello everyone,
Since gas payments are required when using the æternity platform, we decided to create a sort of a “manual faucet” by launching this Forum topic.
Anyone is free to request some ættos (2m ættos max per user) in order to perform tests on the æternity network.
You can use these guides and tutorials to start with.
You can request ættos in the following way:
- Your ak_account
- I would like to use the ættos in order to deploy a sample smart contract / register a name / become an oracle operator.
More tutorials are coming!
Best,
Vlad

It would also be appreciated if you could send some testnet (ae_uat) tokens to:

I send some, I don’t have any ae_uat tokens available currently, I’ll ask the team about it.
I did send some (th_2nHJcrY3Jk54Z87wuNxHkk6U19uLVcNjBa5zqaAcDR9LGSDPc4)

Hey @Neo
Aeon is just another name for the AE token, whereas the ættos are the smallest unit of AE, the equivalent of bitcoin’s satoshis

Here is one about doing this manually in epoch node: https://hackmd.aepps.com/IwNhwUxAjBOBaEAmAZggLCg7ABngQxQGYATeYLETE2EmLAYyA===?view
a more simple one using the SDK and CLI are in planning.
Hi,
