æternity Americas together with ORT University Uruguay are organizing #HackCovid19 - a competition of technological and innovative ideas to provide solutions to the problems generated by the Covid-19 pandemic where the use of blockchain allows a level of security, scalability and total traceability.
Launched in Uruguay a few days ago with more than 200 registered in one day, the competition extends to Argentina and Costa Rica with local replicas of the instance.
The hackathon will take place online in three stages: Propose, Hack and Share:
Propose - is an open call to present problems in areas such as access and management of public information, ethics and coexistence, logistics, hardware, biotechnology and alert systems.
In Hacking, teams will work intensively and online to solve problems, receiving mentorship.
Finally, Share has the goal of share the solutions with the community, through a public and open videoconference.
