Application Title

Hyperchains WebApp Phase 2

Value Application

  • Ease of Use: The intuitive interface developed will reduce the complexity of interacting with blockchain protocols, making it accessible for non-technical users through specific guidelines and forms to streamline the process of running the chain.
  • Developer Productivity: Processes will maximize developer productivity to ensure deadlines are met.
  • AE Framework Example: The project will establish a strong framework for product development and delivery at AE, setting an example for future initiatives.

Definition of Terms

The project involves building a web application that serves as the customer-facing user interface for the Hyperchains protocol. The prototype is ready and set to enable users to utilize the AE Hyperchain’s full functionality. By finalizing this user-friendly web app, the project will simplify access to the protocol and empower users to interact with Hyperchains seamlessly, reducing technical barriers.

Status Quo

The project is currently in the progress stage and requires further development work on both engineering and user-centricity aspects.

Required Work

  1. Finalize Development and Integration

    • Complete user-facing flows, backend workflows, and smart contract integration.
    • Integrate APIs to ensure seamless interaction between the web app and AEternity’s infrastructure.
    • Refine onboarding flows for Initiators, Validators, and Delegators.
  2. Conduct Comprehensive Testing

    • Functional Testing for core functionalities.
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to gather real-user feedback.
    • Security Testing for high data protection standards.
  3. Prepare for Release and Post-Launch Planning

    • Resolve bugs and optimize performance.
    • Finalize user guides and help content.
    • Set up analytics for monitoring and planning further iterations.
  4. Preparations and Groundwork for the DEX Project

    • Set up teams and define roles.
    • Prepare workspaces and tools.
    • Establish processes based on initial requirements and goals of the project.

Estimate

  • Weeks 1-3: Finalize Development and Integration
  • Weeks 4-5: Conduct Comprehensive Testing
  • Weeks 6-7: Prepare for Public Launch/Release
  • Week 8: Post-Launch Maintenance and Preparations for DEX

Known Limitations

There are no known limitations anticipated for this project. All functionalities and deliverables are expected to work as intended.

Outlook

Yes, I would like to take the project further and continue work on further iterations. Moreover, I would be interested in continuing to build the Product Organization at AE.

Publishment

The project will be developed as an open-source initiative, with results published on GitHub.

Maintainance

The project will be maintained post-release.

In October 2024, there was an application for “Hyperchains Web App Product Delivery”. May I venture to ask whether the tasks promised in this application have been completed? Does it mean that the Hyperchains Web App is ready for delivery and launch?
