Can somebody explain in details what is the Aeternity finality?
AE is a programmable money.
In money aspect, It will compete will bitcoin and fait (on blockchain). POW and NG protocol help.
In programmable aspect, It will compete with etheruem and other blockchain. Smart contract, orace and state channel help.
All public chain is about money. Smart contract help the money to used in more use cases.
Money is the society token economy. Money help connect the world, and improve the efficiency of all people.
Hi @xiahui135, thanks for responding. The question here was about the transaction finality - when we can be sure that it was well accepted by the nodes and it’s part of the principal branch (chain).
From what I’ve learned the finality is same as in Ethereum - the micro-block transactions are accounted every 3s, but then the for the main chain can fork and it may happen that there are two block producers, or a block producer can go offline. So we should apply same rules as in Ethereum - to wait few generations to make sure that the chain will not fork.
