Latest Dev-Suite Updates
Description
What we have focused and working lately was on gathering all of the developer tools into one to form one powerful bundle, called the Development Suite or just Dev-Suite. Dev-suite aims to bring the ultimate experience to the developers(having all of the tools and services in one place).
We believe that:
It should not be difficult to build a blockchain application (aepps) on aeternity
What we have focused on the last sprint was on fixing some known issues on our existing projects. We are happy to say that we are very close to deploying the playground for usage on the testnet, and we would love your feedback afterwards.
We also worked, on a new forgae command called shape, which will create new web project, currently in Vue.js, which will render a predefined smart contract that can be used with it. The goal is to help users to better visualize smart contracts functions.
Outlook
Playground
What will be our focus over the next sprint, we will fix more issues and make the playground more stable and deploy it for the testnet. Also, we are working on something very very interesting called Tour of Aeternity, more information about it will be posted soon.
ForgAE
We will polish and release the shape command.
We will also improve the stability of forgAE tool, and we will work on the better support and performance of the tool on Windows.
