Developers Study Jæm - Ekiti State
Summary
This workshop is organized, time-bound technique one aimed at gathering developers from the various tech community (Developer Student Club, Facebook Developer Circle, Women In Tech, Google Developer Group and lots more) in Ekiti State, Nigeria with their variegated expertise in software development to learn, collaborate, code, and build awesome solutions using æternity technologies. Unlike regular workshops, æternity Ekiti helps in tutoring these developers æternity technologies and making them compete amidst themselves to develop remarkable solutions using æternity technologies.
Goals
- Getting more æternity developers in Ekiti State, Nigeria

- Creating æternity community for developers in Ekiti State, Nigeria
- Getting 30 developers for the workshop
- Getting 5 top developers to compete in the Inter-State Hackathon
- Understanding how to write Sophia

- Learning how to connect Smart Contract with the web using JS SDK
- Understanding how to use aepp-SDK-js
- Understand how to write State Channel code
- Getting 10 teams of 3 developers to compete in the in house competition

Team Members
Moritz Stellmacher
After school, @moritzfelipe joined two friends to help them grow their backyard magazine into a national marketing and event agency as creative director (proud 2009 - 2014). In 2014 he co-founded abend, a tech company with the mission to democratize marketing. Where he first developed the product and then served as the CEO of abend to over 3000 clients. While building abend he started investing in and advocating Bitcoin (Why bitcoin should replace the like button, 2015). Since 2017 he fully focuses on the mass adoption of blockchain technology, as the CEO of dacade, a peer-to-peer education system. He will be the online lead facilitator for Developer Study Jæm which will also be communicating to both the onsite facilitators and learners on Telegram. He will be explaining dacade to the developers on the first day of the Jæm.
Stephen Sunday
@Stephensunday.chain has a background in computer science, he is KusuConsult CEO and a business developer! He has been a blockchain promoter with Bitnation, Skycoin, 214 Alpha, Evado and currently he is the æternity’s lead æmbassador in West Africa. He will be the promoter for Developer Study Jæm where he will be in charge of the online publicity for the Developer Study Jæm.
Emmanuel Joseph
@emmanueljet is a software and blockchain developer at Pæy. He is the æternity ambassador for Ekiti State, Nigeria. He was the first Nigerian to finish æternity development 101 course on dacade and he with his team won the best æpp at Ekiti Hackathon with his startup idea Pæy. He will be the onsite lead facilitator for the Developer Study Jæm.
Jesulonimi Akingbesote
@jesulonimi is a mobile solutions expert and a blockchain developer at kwikjobs, he has at least proficient skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, java, python. He also has experience using Sophia and Solidity for writing a smart contract which he and his team won the first runner up at Ekiti Hackathon 2019. He will be the onsite co-lead facilitator for the Developer Study Jæm.
