Latest Dev-Suite Updates

Description

What we have focused and working lately was gathering all of the developer tools into one to form one powerfull bundle, called the Development Suite or just Dev-Suite. Dev-suite aims to bring the ultimate experience for developers(having all of the tools and services in one place).
We believe that:
It should not be difficult to build a blockchain application (aepps) on aeternity

The most interesting from our team the last sprint was, that we’ve started developing a state channel application for a coffee shop that will be available for use in our BaseAepp and also working on the testnet. This is a great showcase that will bring the state channels to you, the community. We wanted to create something that will show how easy and pleasant are the state channels to use.

Next, we have created a Sophia syntax highlighting tool for all JetBrains product, like WebStorm IDE. We believe that with this plugin we will help the community to develop smart contracts and aepps a lot easier. This is something that we know you guys missed. We are now polishing this and it will be published in the next days. You can find the link to it below.

We have made new ForgAE release with some bug fixes and with the new very exciting shape command.

Outlook

Playground

What we will focus this sprint is that we will update the project with the latest SDK version which will bring some changes. After that, the playground tool will also benefit from the new standalone compiler.

Like for the playground the team will focus on updating the project with the latest SDK version which will bring some changes. After that, the forgAE tool will also benefit from the new standalone compiler.

Goggles

The Goggles tool, also known as a transaction debugger, version of the SDK will also be updated with the latest.

Contracts Aepp

The latest SDK version and the standalone compiler will also be available for the contracts aepp.
